We are working with an independent firm of Chartered Surveyors based in Hertfordshire. They manage an extensive portfolio of leasehold blocks and wider freehold estates across London, the inner M25 and home counties on behalf of freeholders, developers and leaseholders. To streamline planned and responsive works across Estates whilst lightening the administrative load on the Surveying and Property Management teams, they are now looking to hire a Major Works / Project Coordinator as follows:
- Coming from a Property related background, ideally block management but potentially LET management or Residential Maintenance
- A good general understanding of residential maintenance and project works, from either an administrative or contractor management perspective
- Well organised, able to multi-task and track multiple projects at once whilst coordinating contractors and keeping internal Surveyors and Property Managers informed
- Allocation of jobs to relevant trade professionals, ensuring invoicing/billing is dealt with upon completion
- Scheduling of works/diaries based on the availability of all key project stakeholders
- Ensure regular communication with relevant parties, internally and externally
- Ensuring key attendees are on site when required during projects
- Arranging site access/keys
