Service Charge Accountant / Head of Accounts Designate – Rapidly growing independent firm – Bromley (Hybrid) – £45-55k

Would you like to make your mark on a relatively new but highly successful and rapidly expanding Property Management firm with a view to eventually heading the entire accounting function? Our client is a relatively newly established but successful and rapidly growing managing agent based in Bromley headed by respected industry figures with a loyal and impressive client base. With many thousands of units already under management (and several thousand more in the pipeline) they now seek an energetic, competent and ambitious Service Charge Accountant to help shape and drive the business as follows:

  • Working from a Bromley office base, with some home working to suit
  • Acting as a Service Charge Accountant initially, moving to “Head Of” as the business continues to expand and additional staff are recruited
  • Dealing with the entire accounting life cycle, from onboarding of new blocks to reviewing/setting initial budgets, dealing with year ends and liaison with auditors
  • Ensuring systems are robust, fit for purpose and scalable as the business grows (you’ll have the freedom to put systems/processes in place alongside the director)
  • Having input and overall say on staff recruitment, training and management
  • Client liaison (Developer, Freeholder and Resident Director)
  • Above all else, making the Accounts Department your own!

Our client needs a suitable Service Charge Accountant ASAP and is prepared to pay up to £55k to start for those who meet the above criteria.
