My client is seeking an experienced Senior Surveyor / Operations Manager to move into a division director level role overseeing the day-to-day operations of a 150+ surveyor network, as well as an in-house booking and customer care team. This will be a full-time role with some hybrid working available. On this basis, you must be able to commute to a NW London office regularly.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, organised, proactive and self-motivated.
- Be tech-savvy and have experience of tablet-based survey software.
- Experience of developing and managing a team of surveyors (and ideally support staff).
- Have experience of dealing with operational surveying issues.
- Be comfortable being the first port of call for network surveyors and be able to delegate and follow up on issues with a wider team (including those of a technical nature).
- MRICS/FRICS would be desired but is not essential for suitably experienced applicants.
Duties
- Support and develop B2C surveying products and service offerings.
- Ensure high levels of compliance, standards and quality from the network.
- Identify and capitalise on any opportunities to add value alongside other departments.
- Liaise with the technical team to assist surveyors with any technical issues or problems with software in the field.
- You must be technology savvy and have a passion for team management and dealing with people daily.
- Liaise with the Sales and Technical teams and provide technical advice and guidance when and where needed/appropriate.
This is an off the tools role, and you will not be expected to undertake surveys.
