Service Charge / Client Accountant
Bristol - £37k (Office based)
We are working with a long established managing agent who trade as an autonomous subsidiary of a much larger national brand, overseeing the managing of blocks across Bristol and the closely surrounding areas.
Within their Service Charge Accounting Team they are now looking to hire an additional Service Charge Accountant as follows:
- Office based in Bristol
- 2 years minimum Service Charge / Client Accounting experience required
- Able to undertake the full range of service charge accounting duties, from integrating new sites through to budgets, statutory accounts and HMRC reporting (including VAT etc).
- Ensuring compliance with legislation and industry best practice
- Leading a small team of Service Charge and Client Accounting Assistants, providing guidance and oversight as required
- Professional accounting qualification preferred AAT/ACCA/CIMA etc. but can be supported in post for those qualified by experience only
In addition to a starting basic salary up to £37k, the successful Service Charge / Client Accountant can expect 24 days leave (plus public), high street shopping discounts and pension, alongside an excellent career path with ongoing training.
