We are working with a prestigious, multi-generational family-owned Property Investment and Management company whose extensive, multi-£billion super prime London portfolio spans Residential, Commercial, Retail and Leisure.
Within their Property Management team, they are now looking to hire an operations manager for oversight of a prestigious retail portfolio as follows:
- Working mostly office based, in Chelsea, Mon-Fri 9am to 5.30pm with some home/site-based working once settled.
- The portfolio comprises shops, restaurants and leisure premises, all based in Chelsea.
- You will have strong Property Management, FM, H&S, and staff management experience with a keen eye for standards, processes and driving improvements across services.
- Responsible for the management of key operational departments including Security, Cleaning, Waste Management and Landscaping, working closely with the Estate Manager to ensure high quality service levels are delivered and maintained throughout.
- You will assist in driving the strategy and vision of the portfolio, continually striving for excellence.
- Managing permits and applications for commercial fitouts.
- Sign off on supplier/contractor payments.
- Oversight of occupier RAMS, H&S Compliance, and insurance claims.
- Undertake regular inspections of the portfolio, reporting and arranging for repairs as required.
Whilst the role is FM biased; our client is looking to hire on the basis of attitude and aptitude so will consider those with transferable skills in addition to those with direct experience. On this basis we welcome expressions of interest from Property Managers, Estate Managers, Facilities Managers and any other disciplines within which relatable skillsets can be applied.
Salary for the successful Operations Manager will start at up to £70k with a generous benefits/holiday package and reviews and uplifts based on performance and tenure.
