Asset Surveyor / Valuer
Client Side – £excellent basic + Bonus & benefits Were working with a well-established, highly successful specialist Lender who are looking to strengthen their existing in-house Surveying team with the appointment of an additional Asset/Valuation Surveyor as follows: Office based in Hertfordshire, working Mon-Fri 9am to 5.30pm (except for when on site/undertaking valuations/inspections etc.) AssocRICS or MRICS qualified, ideally with VRS (though this is not essential) Focused on repossessed assets (loan defaults), working internally (and with appointed receivers) to ensure optimum disposal times and sale price for loan redemption Where necessary (on part completed developments/unfinished properties), ensure all required works are completed prior to marketing within pre-agreed timescales and budget. Liaising internally with the Property Services Team and wider Senior Management, ensuring all relevant case information is recorded/disseminated as required An excellent opportunity to diversify/gain experience in Asset Management for those who have focused primarily on valuation to date Good analytical skills with strong entrepreneurial spirit. Hold a full driving licence and have full access to a vehicle. Up-to-date understanding of the rules and regulations imposed by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). The suitable Asset / Valuation Surveyor will come from a stable career background (Asset Management, Valuation, LPA receivership or a combination of all three), have excellent communication skills, sound commercial awareness and good all-round IT proficiency. Remuneration is highly competitive and will include an excellent basic salary, bonus/profit share and extensive benefits package.
