We are seeking a Senior Production Scientist to join our team.
This is a permanent, full-time position based at our site in Crumlin.
The Role
The Senior Production Scientist oversees the manufacture of products and is the first point of contact for technical queries for Production Scientists.
This role involves ensuring compliance with quality systems, maintaining accurate records, training employees and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Production expert in the relevant product portfolio (Recombinant Proteins) for troubleshooting and customer support.
Manufacture product without supervision.
Ensure batch record completion is accurate and up to date, including the review and approval of batch records.
Contribute to meeting daily, weekly and monthly production targets.
Perform in-process testing and quality checks of finished products where required.
Qualifications
You have a Science related Degree/ Manufacturing Experience (Biological Materials)
You have experience in Fermentation/ Brewing/ Chemical/Bioreactors (Downstream Recovery is advantageous).
You have GMP/ ISO****/ ISO***** Experience
You can understand technical processes/drawings and demonstrate a logical mindset.
You can communicate effectively and work towards deadlines and safety/compliance guidelines.
