BBI exists to help our customers create advances that improve health and save lives. We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position based at our site in Crumlin. Join our team: advancing health, together.
The Role
In this role your responsibilities will include:
- Schedule maintenance activities across the facility, using CMMS
- Coordinate all service contract maintenance & calibration activities with production departments to minimise impact on production equipment availability.
- Review all service reports and calibration certificates to ensure they meet BBI’s requirements.
- Manage the engineering spares inventory to include spares for planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
- Attend and contribute to regular team meetings
- Proactively identify and implement improvements across all maintenance scheduling activities.
- Promoting a continuous improvement culture within the department and within the manufacturing area’s
- Identify creative ways to reduce cost by streamlining processes and systems
- Lead the weekly engineering planning meeting to ensure the engineering team maintain schedule compliance
- Define and maintain maintenance KPIs for internal and external activities
You should apply if:
- Educated to HNC/HND engineering qualification or equivalent,
- Experience in working in world class leading operations facilities
- A demonstrable passion for Continuous Improvement and the ability to example cultural change within a Maintenance team
- Professional level pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience preferred
- Track record of maintenance planning using CMMS
