BBI exists to help our customers create advances that improve health and save lives. We are seeking a Production Technician to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position based at our site in Crumlin.
The Role
The Production Technician is responsible for the manufacture and purification of protein. In this role your responsibilities will include:
- To support (and lead where applicable) in the production of products.
- Ensuring batch record completion is performed in real time and accurate.
- Perform standard laboratory duties such as glassware cleaning.
- Supporting production team members where necessary.
- Preparation of buffers and reagents used within the production department.
- Calibration, service and maintenance of key laboratory equipment.
- Operation of key laboratory equipment, including centrifuges, incubators, rollers.
- Compliance with BBI’s quality system requirements.
- Completion of daily cleaning checks.
