Job Details: Product, Process & Technology (PPT) Scientist
BBI is seeking a Product, Process & Technology (PPT) Scientist to join our team. This is a permanent, full‑time position based at our site in Crumlin.
The Role
- Support the PPT lead in all activities.
- Customer Technical Liaison; commercial support and customer support.
- Customisation – project execution.
- Project planning and execution.
- High level of technical competency; SME in at least one process or ability to become one.
- Problem solving; lead rapid response and RCA; use defined tools; communicate progress.
- Production support and process optimisation implementation.
- Deliver CIPS projects.
- New technology identification and implementation.
- Transfer products within BBI or from external partners or integration.
- Proven record of working within compliance requirements.
- Lean: yellow or green belt with experience.
- Write, execute and interpret protocols; write reports and present findings.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in a scientific discipline.
- Lean and/or Six Sigma Green or Yellow Belt qualification.
- High level of technical understanding of a wide range of diagnostic reagents and products.
- Proven record of supporting continuous improvement activities.
- Experience of working directly with customers.
