BBI exists to help our customers create advances that improve health and save lives. We are seeking a Buyer to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position based at our site in Crumlin.
The role of the Purchasing Co-Ordinator is to perform activities within the company’s supply and demand value stream, to enable the business to realise its commitments to both customers and suppliers. It involves supporting with supplier management and the procurement and buying of goods and services.
Responsibilities
- Ensure requisitions are processed and issued to Suppliers
- Purchase Requisition Support
- Order Expediting
- Supplier Quotations
- Supply base for Materials, Indirect goods, and Services
- Input into Procurement KPIs, taking appropriate action where required
- Input into Supplier selection and tender process
- Maintain master data within the Sage X3 ERP system, including pricing, supplier lead times and minimum order quantities
- Monitor and maintain service contracts and renewal dates
