Business Analyst - CTRM (LNG domain)

Global technology consultancy BBGC are looking for an experienced agile business analyst with expertise in CTRM in LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) to join our team.
As a Business Analyst specializing in CTRM, you will play a vital role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to understand the intricacies of commodity trading operations within a LNG environment and leverage your expertise in CTRM systems to optimize processes and drive efficiency.
Requirements

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to commodity trading activities, risk management, and financial reporting.
• Evaluate existing CTRM systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
• Design and implement solutions within CTRM systems to enhance trading strategies, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency.
• Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing support to ensure effective utilization of CTRM systems and tools.
• Develop and maintain documentation including business process flows, system configurations, and user manuals.
• Partner with IT teams and vendors to customize CTRM solutions, integrate with other systems, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices in commodity trading and risk management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements, upgrades, and migrations.
• Act as a subject matter expert on CTRM systems, providing guidance and support to stakeholders across the organization.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize trading operations, minimize risks, and maximize profitability.

Knowledge & Experience:

• Experience in digital product delivery, preferably within LNG/commodities industry
• Desirable experience in Planlogic CTRM
• Strong agile methodology experience & knowledge
• Knowledge of human-centered design & design-thinking if advantageous
• Excellent communication skills, adaptable to a diverse range of cultural & professional backgrounds
• Strong analytical skills & ability to break down and solve complex problems
• Customer-focused with a clear vision of end goals and customer satisfaction
