We are currently working with a growing metal caps manufacturer in Huddersfield with a good reputation in the industry who are actively seeking to add a new Maintenance Engineer to their team ASAP.
Working Mon-Fri 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm rotating weekly with lots of overtime opportunity.
You'll be responsible for maintaining (reactive & preventative) Rolling Machines, Fly Presses, Stamping, Wadding, Sealing Machinery, Gearboxes, Bearings & Motors.
Salary for 37.5 hours per week = £38,790 but with lots of overtime opportunities as seen below this can quickly rise!
- Saturday overtime @1.5x (£29.83ph)
- Sunday overtime @2x (£39.78ph)
If you worked every Saturday 6am-2pm you’d earn £223 per week each week or every Sunday 6-2 each week = £298pw (On top of salary of course).
OVERTIME EXAMPLE: In a 4 week month, if you do 1 Saturday and 1 Sunday shift OT any time the entire month, (15 extra hours per month) for the year if you did that for 12 months you’d earn £6760 extra.
