The successful candidate will be mapped to the career path framework role of Talent Acquisition Business Partner. This role is currently advertised as internal only. Freelancers are eligible to apply if they have been on a Worker Contract continuously for 6 months.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Join the BBC's Talent Acquisition team and help shape the workforce of the future. As Talent Intelligence Manager, you'll lead the development of strategic talent and labour market insights, using workforce data, forecasting and market intelligence to inform hiring decisions, identify future skills needs and influence workforce planning.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:
- Lead the BBC's talent intelligence capability, providing actionable insight on internal and external talent markets to inform workforce planning and hiring strategies.
- Analyse workforce, recruitment and labour market data to identify talent trends, skills availability, workforce risks and future hiring opportunities.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR and business leaders to forecast future talent demand and develop evidence based hiring and talent pipeline strategies.
- Deliver talent mapping, market intelligence and workforce forecasting activities, translating business priorities into targeted attraction and sourcing approaches.
- Provide strategic insight and recommendations to senior stakeholders, supporting decision making on future skills, workforce planning and long-term talent acquisition priorities.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Significant experience in talent intelligence, workforce planning and talent acquisition strategy, with a proven ability to use market insights and workforce data to inform hiring decisions and talent strategies.
- Strong knowledge of labour market trends, talent supply and demand dynamics, and workforce analytics, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Demonstrable experience in talent mapping, workforce forecasting and developing strategic hiring plans across multiple skills, functions and business areas.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and communicate insights effectively to senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
- Proven experience using talent intelligence, people analytics and recruitment technologies, including labour market intelligence tools, workforce planning platforms and data visualisation solutions.
DESIRABLE:
- Knowledge of skills based hiring approaches, talent segmentation methodologies and future workforce trends.
- Awareness of emerging developments in talent analytics, AI enabled recruitment and workforce transformation approaches.
