Purpose of the role:
Join the Commercial Planning & Analysis team to play a pivotal role in shaping financial performance across Global Channels & Streaming. As a key partner to the Global Channels & Streaming business within EMEA Finance, you'll support the project management of forecasting and budgeting cycles, model revenues and costs, and deliver sharp commercial insights. Your expertise will help drive smarter decisions, unlock value, and strengthen BBC Studios' impact across the region.

Your key responsibilities and impact:
- Act as a key regional contact for forecasting, planning and reporting across Global Channels & Streaming, ensuring clear, timely communication with group finance teams and EMEA markets.
- Act as a Global Channels & Streaming subjectâmatter expert, supporting Finance Business Partners and commercial teams to deliver accurate forecasting and budgeting submissions.
- Act as a superuser of SAP BPC and SAP S4 Hana, contributing to global systemâimprovement projects that enhance financial reporting and data quality.
- Partner with Regional Sales Teams, SVPs and lineâofâbusiness lead to consolidate rolling forecasts, assess risks and opportunities, and prepare highâquality review materials for senior leadership.
- Build strong relationships across the region to support the development and submission of budgets and forecasts, applying commercial understanding to challenge assumptions and strengthen outcomes.
- Provide analytical modelling, commercial insights and business case support that inform strategic decisions, optimise value and improve performance across EMEA Channels & Streaming.
- Produce and present financial and operational analytics and KPIs, offering forwardâlooking insights that help identify opportunities, mitigate risks and drive continuous improvement.
Your skills and experience:
Essential criteria:
- Professionally qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Strong collaborative and relationshipâbuilding skills, with the ability to partner effectively across finance and nonâfinance teams.
- Proactive, selfâmotivated and outcomeâfocused, with a customerâservice mindset and the drive to support BBC Studios' growth ambitions.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and longâterm financial planning within fastâpaced commercial environments.
- Advanced financial modelling skills, including building and maintaining complex forecasting models.
- Clear and confident communication skills, able to translate financial insights for nonâfinance audiences and balance project work with BAU demands.
Desired but not required:
- Experience in multiâmarket or regional FP&A roles, ideally within broadcasting, media, content distribution or telecommunications.
- Ability to apply accounting knowledge in a commercial context and collaboratively design, build and review financial models for major initiatives.
- Familiarity with SAP/S4, BPC, Power BI, Power Query or emerging AI/BI tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to connect financial insights to business drivers.
