Overview
BBC Studios is looking for a North West based tenacious and inquisitive Researcher to join the team on an exciting new series.
You will have strong journalistic instincts, excellent research skills, and the ability to uncover compelling stories that hold organisations and individuals to account.
Responsibilities
- Develop investigations, identify contributors, fact-check information, and work with sensitive information.
- Speak to members of the public, build trust with contributors, and work to tight deadlines in a quick-turnaround production environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in current affairs, factual entertainment, or consumer journalism and an understanding of BBC Editorial Guidelines is highly desirable.
- Experience developing investigations, identifying contributors, fact-checking, and handling sensitive information is essential.
- Ability to speak confidently to members of the public and build trust with contributors.
- Location: North West based or able to work from a North West location.
