BBC One’s Morning Live are looking for an experienced Production Coordinator to join their team based in Manchester starting on 24th August to 18th December, with possibility of extending until end of March 2027. We’d love to hear from PCs who enjoy working in a structured and collaborative production environment with experience working across studio or live productions. BBC Systems experience would be an advantage. This role will be based at the Morning Live studio in Central Manchester. You will be required to be in the studio/office from 5am during studio weeks, with more flexibility during prep weeks. Prep and studio weeks alternate.
You will need:
- Experience supporting studio or live productions.
- Familiarity with BBC Systems, or ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Experience working with onscreen talent and contributors.
- Experience with cost monitoring and supporting production budgets.
- A good working knowledge of archive and copyright clearance.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the smooth running of studio production and logistics.
- Setting up contracts, managing schedules, and maintaining accurate records.
- Liaising with contributors, presenters, agents, and internal teams.
- Coordinating studio requirements, call sheets, and resources.
- Monitoring costs across productions and supporting budget tracking.
