PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £90,000 + London Weighting (£5,441) depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights. Bonus: 15% O.T.E

Reporting to the Regional VP of Consumer Products & Commercial Partnerships – LatAm, this role leads the regional licensing strategy and commercial performance across Latin America. You will drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and ensure alignment with global brand priorities, while leading and developing a high-performing team.

Your Key Responsibilities And Impact:

  • Define and deliver the LatAm licensing strategy, owning revenue targets, forecasting, and long-term growth.
  • Identify new business opportunities across categories, markets, and channels to expand the licensing footprint.
  • Lead and develop the LatAm team, with direct reports including a Marketing Manager, Licensing Manager, and Licensing Coordinator.
  • Set clear priorities, KPIs, and elevate the team’s strategic and commercial impact.
  • Oversee licensing, merchandising, and promotional partnerships to drive revenue and brand visibility.
  • Direct and support licensing agents; directly manage direct agreements.
  • Drive retail strategy and distribution, maximizing sell-in and sell-through across key accounts and channels.
  • Align product launches and marketing plans with regional trends and opportunities.
  • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking, ensuring data-led decision making and transparency.
  • Evaluate partnerships and develop business models to support growth.
  • Build strong senior relationships with partners, licensees, retailers, and broadcasters.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with global and regional teams to align licensing, content, and marketing strategies.
  • Communicate routinely and effectively with the wider BBCS departments (product development, marketing, content sales, regional licensing teams) and key clients such as broadcasters.

Your Skills And Experience:

  • Extensive experience in an entertainment role, ideally within a marketing or licensing department.
  • Passion for BBCS’ brands and children’s space.
  • Knowledge of Latin American retail landscape.
  • Fluent in Spanish/Portuguese with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Not Required:

  • Familiarity with BBC programming and British television a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proactive, collaborative team player with a thirst for learning and growth.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
