BBC Studios – Junior Researcher– Scam Interceptors
BBC Studios' Scam Interceptors is looking for a junior researcher to join the team on a freelance basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their experience in factual television as such this would be suited to an entry level candidate. The ideal person will be highly organised, have great attention to detail, and be able to work accurately and efficiently with large volumes of material. You'll play an important role in supporting the production team by logging actuality as it unfolds, identifying key moments, and helping to uncover the stories at the heart of our investigations. You’ll also be required to support the team in contacting contributors post filming and ahead of transmission.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience logging footage on factual, documentary, consumer, or current affairs productions is desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Experience of building relationships with contributors. Gaining and maintaining trust and handling relationships sensitively and discreetly.
- Comfortable working with large volumes of media and meeting tight deadlines
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team
