Junior Production Manager – Scam Interceptors BBC Studios | Glasgow Contract: 12 October 2026 – 21 May 2027 Please note: this role will be office-based Monday to Thursday until the end of December 2026 to support the production hub setup and delivery. From January 2027, the role will move to a hybrid working pattern. BBC Studios is seeking a Junior Production Manager to join the award-winning series Scam Interceptors in Glasgow.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage production schedules, resources, and logistics for studio and location filming.
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, and production spend.
- Coordinate multiple edits and high-volume programme deliveries.
- Complete programme paperwork and oversee delivery documentation.
- Work closely with editorial teams, talent, compliance specialists, and external partners.
- Ensure health and safety and compliance requirements are met throughout production.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience delivering fast-turnaround factual or multi-platform productions.
- Strong financial and budget management skills.
- Working knowledge of BBC production systems.
- Experience managing multiple edits and high-volume deliveries.
- Understanding of BBC and independent production delivery requirements.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of production compliance and health & safety procedures.
- Knowledge of rights management.
- Delegation skills.
Desirable
- Knowledge of commissioning and greenlight processes, with the ability to coordinate resources and production planning to support the successful delivery of editorial goals.
