About The Strategy & Business Intelligence Team
The Strategy & BI team supports BBC Studios Ad Sales by driving commercial growth, business performance and future capability through strategic insight, trusted data, connected commercial platforms and transformational initiatives. This role sits within the Change & Enablement function, which leads strategic transformation and operational change across the Ad Sales business. The team is responsible for helping the organisation adopt new capabilities, optimise ways of working and maximise the value of commercial technology investments to support future growth.

Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Ad Operations, Planning, Revenue Performance, Business Intelligence, Product and Technology teams, you will help ensure our commercial systems and workflows remain effective, user‑centric and aligned to evolving business needs. The role combines product ownership, stakeholder management and continuous improvement with hands‑on operational delivery across CRM, workflows, adoption, governance and commercial operations. You will identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce operational friction, strengthen data quality and support the successful delivery of business change across the organisation.
Your Key Responsibilities And Impact
- Own and evolve the Ad Sales commercial systems roadmap, prioritising initiatives based on business value, user needs and strategic objectives.
- Lead the optimisation and continuous improvement of Salesforce and support the ongoing evolution of Media Cloud capabilities, ensuring platforms remain effective, scalable and user‑centric.
- Gather, define and translate business requirements into platform enhancements, user stories and workflow improvements.
- Partner with the Salesforce Product Team to prioritise backlog, shape solutions and support successful delivery.
- Collaborate across Sales, Ad Operations, Planning, Revenue Performance, Business Intelligence, Product and Technology teams to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Design and optimise commercial workflows and processes to drive efficiency, consistency and scalability.
- Identify opportunities to streamline operations, reduce manual effort and introduce workflow automation across the commercial lifecycle.
- Drive CRM adoption, governance and enablement through training, change management and user engagement initiatives.
- Build and support a champions network, using user feedback and adoption insights to inform future improvements.
- Improve data quality, reporting and operational visibility through dashboards, KPIs and performance monitoring.
- Act as the key link between business and technology teams, ensuring platform development aligns with commercial priorities.
- Measure the impact of enhancements, evaluate new capabilities and drive continuous improvement across the commercial technology ecosystem.
Your Key Skills And Experience
- Proven experience owning and improving Salesforce (Sales Cloud), including the optimisation and continuous improvement of CRM processes and workflows.
- Experience gathering, translating and prioritising business requirements into Salesforce enhancements, platform improvements or roadmap initiatives.
- Demonstrated success driving Salesforce adoption, user enablement, training and change management across commercial or sales teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working across commercial, operational and technology teams to deliver business outcomes.
- Experience identifying and delivering process, workflow or operational improvements that have improved efficiency, data quality, reporting or forecasting.
Desired (Not Required)
- Experience with Salesforce Media Cloud.
- Experience within media, advertising, publishing or commercial sales organisations.
- Experience in a Product Owner, Product Manager or Commercial Systems role.
- Experience supporting forecasting, revenue operations or commercial reporting processes.
- Familiarity with media planning tools, order management systems or Ad Tech platform.
