A globally renowned media company borne of the BBC. We make and distribute the world’s most sought‑after TV, audio and digital content. Our ambition is to be the home of the most powerful, entertaining and inspiring stories for people worldwide.

Purpose of the Role

BBC Studios is transforming its Global Licensing operations through the rollout of a new integrated platform powered by My Media Box (MMB). As a Commercial Executive, you will play a key role in ensuring contract accuracy, data integrity and smooth operational processes during this transition. Your work will directly support the successful migration, validation and ongoing maintenance of licensing contracts across the business.

Why Join the Team

You’ll be joining a collaborative, forward‑thinking team at a pivotal moment of transformation. This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in licensing systems, contribute to a major operational upgrade, and work closely with teams across the UK, EMEA, Asia and ANZ. It’s an ideal environment for someone who enjoys structured processes, problem solving and being part of a supportive global community.

Key Responsibilities and Impact

  • Enter new licensing agreements, amendments and financial terms into MMB, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and update contract records, including key dates such as renewals and expiries.
  • Review and validate contract data, identifying and resolving discrepancies in collaboration with the wider team.
  • Support system processes, including off‑system renewals, workflow testing and reporting issues during system upgrades.
  • Provide administrative support during contract migration and onboarding activities, sharing updated information with relevant teams across multiple regions.

Essential Criteria / Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrable experience entering and maintaining contract or financial data within a structured system, ensuring accuracy across key commercial terms (e.g., advances, minimum guarantees, renewal dates).
  • Proven ability to review, validate and correct contract records, identifying inconsistencies and resolving data issues with precision during high‑volume or time‑sensitive periods.
  • Hands‑on experience working with digital contract‑management platforms, rights/licensing systems or complex databases, with the ability to quickly learn and operate newly implemented tools (e.g., MMB or similar).
  • Ability to manage contract workflows end to end — including data entry, updates, validation checks and off‑system processes — while prioritising effectively to meet operational deadlines.
  • Experience supporting system migrations, data clean‑ups or structured operational processes within a contracts, licensing or commercial environment.

Desired but Not Required

  • Experience working within a global or multi‑territory environment.
  • Understanding of contract structures, financial terms or royalty processes.
  • Interest in media, licensing or commercial operations.

We appreciate your interest in this position and understand how important this opportunity is to you. Due to the high volume of interest we may need to close the application period earlier than anticipated.
