BBC Radio Wiltshire – Swindon, Full-time Fixed‑Term Apprenticeship, 13 months – Level 3 Production Assistant. Salary: £22,950.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT As a Production Apprentice you’ll learn, grow and contribute across a variety of content. You could be working on:

• Live radio programmes – recording and editing audio.
• Meeting and working with contributors.
• Producing video for our social media content and regional TV output.
• Crafting audio for BBC Sounds.

Learning both on and off the job – attending learning blocks (up to a week) delivered in‑person or virtually while you work at the BBC, towards the industry‑recognised Level 3 Production Assistant qualification.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Be 18 years old or over by the time the apprenticeship begins in September 2026.
• Have lived in the UK continuously for the last 3 years prior to the start.
• Be legally eligible to work full‑time in the UK for the entire duration.
• Not currently enrolled in another apprenticeship programme.
• No prior learning required to apply.

For candidates under 19 at 8 September 2026: you must have achieved Maths and English GCSE at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) or achieve Functional Skills Level 2 before the end of the apprenticeship.
