Production Apprenticeship - Level 3 - BBC Radio Manchester - Salford - EXTEND

Contract Type: Fixed‑Term Apprenticeship, Full‑time for 13 months

This role is advertised as part of the BBC Extend programme for disabled people. Your Key Responsibilities and Impact:

• Live radio programme recording and editing audio
• Meeting contributors
• Producing video for social media and regional TV output
• Crafting audio for BBC Sounds

You will attend learning blocks (up to a week at a time) with our learning provider, working towards an industry recognised apprenticeship qualification – Level 3 Production Assistant. Delivery will be a mix of in‑person and virtual sessions.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Be 18 years old or over by the start of the apprenticeship in September 2026
• Have lived in the UK continuously for the last 3 years prior to the start
• Be legally eligible to work full‑time in the UK for the entire duration
• Not currently enrolled in another apprenticeship programme
• No prior learning required
• Identify as disabled under the Equality Act (2010)
