We’re looking for someone who is passionate about gaming and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. But we also want someone who is passionate about BBC Studios brands and is excited about adapting TV IP into games. This role will also focus heavily on Bluey, our hugely successful family entertainment brand, and so a passion for and understanding of the kid’s media space is critical.
As a Producer at BBC Studios, you will oversee the full lifecycle of multiple, concurrent gaming projects in partnership with multiple external development partners. You’ll be responsible for managing approvals, schedules, and marketing efforts, ensuring each project aligns with our brand values and quality standards.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT
- Managing multiple, concurrent brand integration projects, including creative development, production, marketing and live service.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a range of external development partners, acting as the key point of contact and project lead at BBCS for our partners.
- Act as a brand guardian with a deep understanding of the brand to ensure all projects meet brand guidelines, tone of voice and overall quality expectations.
- Coordinate and manage approvals and project updates with stakeholders of all levels, to ensure alignment and visibility.
- Proactively identify project risks early, creatively problem solve and then provide actionable solutions.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Extensive experience in game production.
- Experience working with major media brands or high-profile IP, including working directly with IP holders.
- Experience with full game development cycles from pitch through to live ops.
- Excellent communication skills are required to provide clear, concise and actionable feedback and direction.
- Proven ability to manage schedules, deliverables, and communications across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills along with an ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and take initiative.
- Deep knowledge of the video game industry, trends, player needs, expectations and motivations.
