PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: ÂŁ48,000 - ÂŁ58,000 (including London weighting). Salary dependent on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The AI Creative Lab within BBC Studios Global Content is an initiative designed to supercharge AI innovation across our global content portfolio. Supporting Scripted, Unscripted, Global Productions, Audio, and Kids & Family, the Lab will shape bespoke creative solutions while responsibly and adventurously embracing rapidly emerging technologies.
As Project Manager you will be responsible for driving and delivering a portfolio of AI/ML projects as well as owning and expanding capabilities of the central information management system built in Airtable. A very confident user of Airtable, Slack, Teams, Jira or Asana, Miro or Mural, as well as a good working knowledge of popular AI platforms and services, you will ensure the team is working towards established goals and OKRs. You will manage deadlines, keep Genre leads and production teams well informed, and ensure projects and communication remains organised, efficient and smoothly run.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT
- Build, expand, operate and maintain Airtable to build dashboards, slides, reports and project structures to keep teams aligned and streamline progress communication workflows.
- Track and manage a portfolio of AI/ML projects, ensuring clear goals, ARCI, and consistent reporting of progress towards multiple genres, stakeholders and production teams.
- Manage timelines, resources and priorities, setting deadlines, tracking progress and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time and to agreed standards and policies.
- Act as the central coordination point for the AI Creative Lab, working with the Head to keep Genre leads, producers and internal stakeholders informed through regular updates, reports, and demonstrations.
- Facilitate collaboration across creative, technical and production functions, ensuring smooth communication via Airtable to Keynote/Powerpoint, Teams, Jira, Miro and other tools.
- Champion automation and responsible efficiency optimisation, supporting the exploration, testing and integration of emerging AI technologies to enable efficient content creation and production.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Proven track record and experience of managing and delivering complex technologyâcentric projects or products using lean methodologies, modern tools, automation, delivering on time and to budget.
- Strong proficient use of Airtable and experience of using the full range of functions for presentations, dashboards, and as a project management hub. Evidence of building reports, dashboards and structured workflows and delivering to a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.
- High level competency with presentation and communication tools, primarily Keynote/PowerPoint, spreadsheets (Excel/Sheets, pivot tables, PowerBI); Canva experience a bonus.
- Proficiency with modern project, product and communication tools, such as Slack, Teams, Jira/Asana, Miro/Mural and similar platforms.
- Good working knowledge and experience of using common AI platforms including, but not limited to, Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, CoPilot. Evidence of working in roles which are resultsâdriven, and require a proactive, problemâsolving approach to delivery, with an obvious passion and interest for television and content production.
