PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Assistant International Production Consultant will originate and produce excellent content, manage media and other assets and provide expertise and support to the International Production Consultants and Creative Network Teams. These roles will contribute creative ideas, bringing highest quality content production skills which may involve research, managing complex tasks and systems, technical operations, editing, creating presentations and general production activities. They will also assist in providing editorial support for some titles.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:
- Bible Asset support to assist flying producers and creating and maintaining filing system and asset management.
- Deputise for the production consultants for some titles where necessary.
- Create and manage a new filing system for media management using Dropbox to acquire and store episodes from original IP owners and International local versions (including subtitling). This will involve liaising with multiple partners and keeping detailed records and systems.
- Archiving process of production management systems to ensure files are stored securely.
- To work effectively with other departments, suppliers & partners (internal & external) ensuring the BBC maintains excellent relationships throughout.
- To support the Creative Network team with presentations, edit reels and event management when needed.
- To ensure all content is of a first-class standard: thoroughly researched and accurate.
- Direct and coordinate resources in a busy environment.
- Creative self-starter with initiative and tenacity and ability to see how their work fits in with the wider needs of the department and division.

The Assistant International Production Consultant will report to the Head of International Production Consultancy and the Head of Creative Networks. The job holder will receive an appropriate level of editorial guidance and direction.
SCOPE
The role of the Assistant International Production Consultant is to assist the other International Production Consultants and Creative Network teams. They will provide editorial, production and media/data management support using broad production skills gained with experience in a production environment.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- To be technically proficient to the requirements of the role.
- Experience of self‑editing on Adobe Premiere as part of the role will involve planning and editing reels and short VT films for creative exchanges, events and internal presentations.
- Experience in self‑shooting would be an advantage although this will only be required occasionally.
- An interest in how AI can be used to create efficiencies in day‑to‑day tasks and then researching, testing and implementing those changes.
- Experience of using applications like Canva for creating presentations is an advantage.
- To use a variety of specialist production skills in a multi‑skilled environment.
DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
