LOCATION: London – Hybrid
PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £25,700 – £33,700 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

JOB PURPOSE
Join the award-winning BBC World Service Audiences team to shape digital research that informs global journalism. As a Digital Audience Research Executive, you’ll play a key role in delivering insights that guide editorial and strategic decisions.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT
- Contribute to digital research projects through audience data analysis and insight generation.
- Analyse performance data across web and social platforms to inform content and service development.
- Design and maintain dashboards for regular performance reporting.
- Present audience insights in a compelling and engaging manner.
- Support qualitative and quantitative research projects and stakeholder engagement.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- Experience with web analytics tools like Piano Analytics and Google Analytics.
- Experience with social analytics tools such as Emplifi and YouTube Analytics.
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail with numerical data.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data manipulation and visualization.
- Ability to simplify complex problems and communicate insights effectively.
DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED
- Knowledge of media analytics and industry standards across channels.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience in international research or analytics beyond UK/US audiences.
