Exciting opportunity for an HR Advisor to join a well-known media company on an 18 month fixed-time contract based in either Glasgow or Manchester.
As the HR Advisor, you will be responsible for advising and supporting line managers and employees on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including performance management, absence management, disciplinary matters, grievances, induction, and employee welfare. You will play a key role in building effective working relationships at all levels while providing a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach in line with HR best practices.
What you’ll be doing:
- Advising and supporting line managers and employees on ER matters.
- Supporting senior management with operational HR practices.
- Contributing to HR projects to implement new initiatives.
- Liaising with Payroll and Admin teams to complete paperwork and system updates.
- Collaborating with Talent Management on recruitment needs as required.
- Assisting line managers in embedding competency-based performance management and coaching.
- Delivering people management training sessions as needed.
- Working with HR leadership to improve policies and ensure compliance.
