Overview
This is not an entry-level assistant, but someone ready to step up. If you’re an Assistant looking for a role with progression, this could be the right job for you. For the right candidate, this role offers a pathway to develop towards an Agent position. This is a full-time, office-based role in the heart of the West End. Please only apply if you have at least two years of experience working in a talent agency. This is not an entry-level role.
What we’re looking for
- At least 2 years of continuous experience assisting in a talent agency, with solid knowledge of casting directors and proven agency or casting experience.
- Excellent organisation, administration, and computer literacy.
- Knowledge of Tagmin and Spotlight.
- Experience giving notes on self-tapes, and handling negotiations and contracts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence in liaising with clients, casting, and industry professionals.
- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise.
- A proactive, calm, collaborative, and client-focused approach.
Day to day responsibilities
- Managing client diaries, availability, and self-tape requests.
- Project submissions and client pushes.
- Providing support and feedback to clients on self-tapes and materials.
- Liaising with casting directors, producers, and other industry professionals.
- Invoicing and client-related financial admin.
- Attending showcases and industry events.
- Working collaboratively across the team, supporting agents and covering colleagues when required to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
