About the Role: Looking to speak with Site Managers with proven industrial construction experience to lead the delivery of a high-spec industrial warehouse project. This is a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all on-site construction activities for industrial warehouse projects, ensuring strict adherence to project specifications and safety regulations.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure efficient workflow and project delivery.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance across all site operations.
- Monitor project progress, manage schedules, and provide accurate reporting to senior management.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with design and construction standards.
- Manage resources, procurement, and logistics to prevent delays.
- Resolve on-site technical, operational, and personnel issues promptly.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
- Minimum 1 year's recent experience managing large-scale industrial construction projects (warehouses, manufacturing facilities, distribution centres).
- Demonstrated experience working for Tier 1 contractors on industrial builds.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, project management, and safety standards.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
