About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and reliable Storesperson / Workshop Technician to join our East Yorkshire Field Operations team on a part-time basis. This is a varied, hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for maintaining depot operations, managing stock, and supporting workshop activities. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our technicians have the equipment and materials they need to deliver an excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Unloading Internal Deliveries using a forklift truck (FLT training provided)
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
  • Managing stock levels and processing stock orders
  • Supporting workshop activities, including equipment verification and repairs (training provided)
  • Moving equipment between regional depots as required
  • Ensuring high standards of safety, housekeeping, and compliance are maintained
  • Supporting wider operational needs and completing all required documentation

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has strong organisation and time management skills
  • Can work independently and use their own initiative
  • Takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness
  • Has good communication skills and a proactive, “can-do” attitude

Essential Requirements

  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Ability to work early morning shifts
  • Willingness to undertake a DBS check

Desirable (but not essential)

  • FLT licence or warehouse experience (training provided)
  • Previous experience in a stores, logistics, or workshop environment
