About the Role:

Reporting to the Scheduling Team Leader, the Senior Scheduler acts as a deputy within the scheduling function, supporting the day-to-day management and development of the team. You'll play a key role in ensuring technician resources are utilised effectively, operational targets are achieved, and patient appointments are delivered efficiently across multiple regions.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and people-focused professional with scheduling, logistics or workforce planning experience who is ready to take the next step in their career.

You'll work closely with Regional Team Managers and field-based colleagues, providing guidance, resolving operational challenges, and driving continuous improvement across scheduling processes.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Support the leadership, coaching and development of the Scheduling Team.
  • Coordinate and communicate key scheduling updates during daily operational calls.
  • Ensure that urgent and critical jobs are allocated and completed within agreed service levels.
  • Manage technician availability and resource allocation across regions.
  • Provide support through the technician hotline, resolving field-based operational issues.
  • Lead and support scheduling and resource management projects.
  • Assist with training, welfare, performance management and process documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve scheduling queries, escalations and complaints.
  • Analyse scheduling reports and provide insights to improve efficiency and performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support best practice across the team.
  • Deputise for the Scheduling Team Leader when required.

About You:

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and passionate about delivering excellent service through effective scheduling and team support.

  • Experience leading, mentoring or supporting a team.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to lead effective relationships at all levels.
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical ability.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time-management skills.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Office and Word.
  • Positive, resilient and solution-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience within scheduling, logistics or workforce planning environments.
  • Experience working with field-based teams.
  • Project-based work experience.
  • Good geographical knowledge.
