About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and proactive Storesperson / Workshop Support Technician to join our Bradford depot on a full-time basis. This is a hands‑on and varied role where you’ll be responsible for unloading deliveries, managing stock, and coordinating equipment across depots, ensuring our operations run smoothly. You’ll play a critical role in keeping the depot supplied, enabling the wider team to deliver essential services to patients.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday: 5:00am – 1:30pm (30‑minute unpaid break). Occasional Saturday working may be required (overtime available).
Key Responsibilities
- Unloading deliveries at the Bradford depot using a forklift truck (FLT training provided)
- Loading empty cylinders and equipment onto outgoing vehicles
- Supporting weekly unloading at Barnsley depot (Tuesdays & Thursdays)
- As and when required, you may also be called upon to transport or collect equipment from other UK depots
- Completing all relevant paperwork and maintaining accurate records
- Carrying out daily FLT safety checks
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse and workshop environment
- Ensuring high standards of safety, compliance, and housekeeping are maintained
About You
- Is reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
- Can work independently and manage their time effectively
- Is flexible and willing to travel at short notice when required
- Has a proactive, “hands‑on” approach to work
- Is comfortable working in a fast‑paced and physical environment
- Full UK driving licence (manual vehicles)
- Basic Maths and English skills
- Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check
Desirable (but not essential)
- FLT licence (training will be provided)
- Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or workshop environment
