The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
You will lead repowering projects of solar PV plants from quotation through to implementation, including additional work and FAC punch list items.
You will manage project programs including planning, coordination, reporting, and oversee the technical and material related activities.
You will communicate with customers and assist with delivering relevant information as requested.
You will be required to support in developing PV repowering/revamping offering and establishing standard processes.
You will facilitate interface with central group and business entity functions i.e. technical LV & HV, marketing, commercial, and purchasing teams.
You will be required to support establishing a network of suppliers and sub-contractors suitable for the PV repowering/revamping projects.
You will be responsible for continuously monitoring and maintaining excellent levels of quality and safety on site.
You will understand client requirements and develop technical proposals (incl. quotation, tender management) for PV repowering/revamping projects.
You will develop project programs and identify opportunities, liaising with the asset management team and analysing the solar portfolio of existing and potential new clients to review items such as large-scale warranty claims, issues with performance and assets, technology upgrades etc.
You will carry out future revamping design proposals.
You will, with support of BayWa SHEQ Team, create and manage all aspects of CDM including but not limited to all relevant documentation. Design capabilities for LV and HV Networks up to 33KV.
Qualifications:
- Degree in industrial engineering or similar educational background.
- Proven experience in the field of development and realisation of PV systems.
- Profound knowledge of the PV industry and thorough technical understanding; background in EPC/project development is beneficial.
- Working knowledge of CDM regulations advantageous.
- Well experienced in using AutoCAD.
- Experience in using a range of design software.
- Ideally CESGA Qualified.
- Project management experience, managing construction and/or additional works.
- Strong financial understanding.
- Experience in both ground mount and rooftop installations.
- Experience with design engineering software and tools advantageous.
- Excellent customer interface and experience creating quotes.
- Able to multitask effectively.
- Good negotiation skills, intercultural competence, and strong communication skills.
- Business fluent in English; an additional European language is a plus.
- Good understanding of site H&S requirements.
- 18th Edition Electrical Regulations Qualification, NVQ or City & Guilds in electrical installation would be advantageous.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Advanced knowledge of CDM regulations where it states CESGA would be advantageous.
- Willing to travel anywhere in the UK.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
