As a Teacher, your role is all about showcasing engaging experiences. Just like our school, your responsibilities are diverse and exciting.
Key Duties and Responsibilities- Teach English as a second language classes to groups of 12-15 students.
- As needed, teach a variety of classes, including EAP, IELTS, Cambridge testing, business English, ESP, private classes, or closed groups.
- Plan lessons to meet the needs of the individuals in your class, considering student feedback and performance on weekly progress tests.
- Use Bayswater online portals to complete daily attendance, plan lessons, and assign homework.
- Deliver and evaluate weekly assessments.
- Participate in teacher meetings and professional development sessions.
- Submit timesheets and follow all policies and procedures in the Teacher Handbook.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Valid TESL/TESOL/CELTA Certificate.
- Experience teaching English to international students.
- Experience of using technology in the classroom.
- Experience teaching exam preparation, business English, EAP, young learners (Cambridge Delta or Trinity Dip TESOL or equivalent (TEFL-Q status) is desirable.
- Ability to work in a diverse environment and collaborate with others.
