Bayne\’s the Family Bakers provide the following pay range. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience – discuss with your recruiter for more details.

Base Pay and Working Hours

Location: 101 High Street, Kinross, KY13 8AQ.
Purpose: Work alongside the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager as part of the management team. Run the shop in their absence while promoting the company values and giving moments of joy to our customers.
Working Hours:

– Shifts change week to week, including weekends (when rostered).
– Shift times between 5:00 am and 5:00 pm, any 4 days from 7.
Pay: £12.69 per hour plus an excellent benefits package (see below).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve customers with our award‑winning range of bakery products.
• Set up and maintain counter and window displays.
• Resolve customer queries and complaints.
• Lead by example and live our values every day (Customer Focus, Respect, Continuous Improvement & Sustainability).
• Prioritise tasks and delegate duties to team members.
• Encourage positive workplace behaviours including attitude, integrity, appearance and punctuality.
• Deliver a consistent and excellent customer experience.
• Maintain high standards for shop appearance and product quality and availability.
• Key holder with responsibility for opening and closing the shop.
• Promote compliance with company policies and legislation, including health & safety and food safety.
• Hold return‑to‑work meetings and documented discussions.
• Manage cash in line with company guidelines.
• Perform computer‑related tasks such as data entry and recording figures.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience ideally in a food retail environment.
• Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Open, honest and approachable nature, with the ability to listen, empathise and maintain confidentiality.
• Flexible to work various shifts across the shop opening hours.
• Basic computer and numeracy skills.
