Pay and Hours
- Base pay range: £12.42 per hour for employees aged 18+.
- For those under 18: £10.54 per hour.
- Shift types: Various shifts week to week, including weekends, scheduled between 5:00 am and 5:00 pm.
- Each shift is 20 hours per week, with the possibility of additional hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve customers with a range of hot and cold bakery and food‑to‑go products.
- Set up and maintain counter and window displays in line with company guidelines.
- Deal with customer pre‑orders, process payment and paperwork accordingly.
- Take payment for goods using electronic tills and process cash and card transactions.
- Stock shelves with products.
- Answer customer queries and give advice and product guidance.
- Report any discrepancies and problems to the management team.
- Clean the shop and facilities.
Qualifications
- Previous food retailing or food‑to‑go experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Positive attitude and resilience.
- Cash handling experience and proficiency with touchscreen tills.
- Flexibility to work between 5 am and 5 pm, Monday to Sunday, any 4 days out of 7.
