As part of this journey, we are looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Technician to join our growing Technical team and to help us maintain the exceptional standards our customers expect.
About the Role
The Quality Assurance Technician supports the Technical Manager in improving site and product quality standards by monitoring product quality and site compliance with site rules, methods and standards. The role provides coaching and support to site production, despatch, transport and management teams to develop understanding of quality practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring product and process quality against defined standards
- Monitor site hygiene, GMP, and safety standards through regular audits and checks
- Coaching and supporting teams to improve food safety and quality practices
- Conduct GMP, hygiene and temperature monitoring checks
- Investigate complaints and support structured root cause analysis
- Maintaining accurate records, specifications, and recipes
- Conduct ATP, environmental and Listeria swabbing programmes
- Support production teams in general food safety compliance
- Carry out calibration activities
