Paying up to £12.00 p/hr Based in Oldham, North Manchester, our client is a successful engineering business seeking an experienced Data Entry Assistant to cover a period of sickness. This is a temporary, ongoing office-based opportunity working Monday to Friday, either 9.00 am to 5.30 pm or 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. THE JOB As Temporary Data Entry Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all new data processing tasks. You will work closely with the internal teams to facilitate seamless data management processes. Key Responsibilities: Accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data in Microsoft Excel and Dynamics systems. Verifying and cross-checking data to ensure accuracy and consistency. Handling sensitive and confidential information with care. Liaising with team members to ensure data is processed in line with project timelines. Supporting administrative tasks, such as organising digital records and tracking data progress. Identifying and correcting discrepancies or inconsistencies in data entry. THE PERSON We are looking for someone with: Strong MS Office IT skills, particularly with Excel Previous experience using Dynamics or similar data management systems is preferred. A methodical and process-driven approach to work. Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy in data handling. A confident, professional, and approachable demeanor. The ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
