Our client is a large and complex business based in Blackburn and we are seeking to appoint a Accounts Receivable Supervisor for a 6 month contract following the change in bank accounts..

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee and coordinate daily operations of the Accounts Receivable function

Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer invoices

Ensure all AR functions comply with company policies and financial regulations

Collaborate with various departments to resolve billing issues

Manage accounts receivable ageing and maintain healthy cash flow

Drive process improvements within the AR function

Apply strong leadership skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Utilise a solid understanding of accounting principles to support financial stability

Handle large volumes of data using Excel

Key Requirements :

Proven experience in an accounts receivable or similar financial role.

Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, particularly in multi-site operations and in an international company

Experience in handling invoices is advantageous.

Demonstrable ability to consolidate and centralise financial processes across various locations.

Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.

Capability to work autonomously and manage workloads efficiently.

Experience in a high-volume transactional environment is preferred
