An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Interim Financial Analyst / Project Accountant to join a major transformation programme within a fast-paced organisation. This 18-month contract is available on a 3-day-a-week (part-time) basis and would suit a junior analyst or an assistant accountant who is used to dealing with high volumes of data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate recording and reporting of project-related timesheets and resource allocations
- Analyse project costs and cost base allocations to identify variances and help prevent overspend
- Work closely with the transformation team to track and capture all budget data
- Monitor spend against budget, highlighting risks and opportunities in a timely manner
- Maintain and manage large volumes of financial and operational data with accuracy
- Use Excel extensively for analysis, reconciliation, and reporting
About You:
- Early-stage or part-qualified (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or similar) with a background in finance or entry-level analysis
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets
