Paying up to £40k, our client is recruiting for a Management Accountant on a permanent basis. The role offers study support alongside hybrid working. This company situated in outstanding offices in Salford Quays has a fantastic culture which is proven in the fact that the majority of their employees have committed to the company on a long-term basis.
The Role
A key member of the Finance team, this role is for someone with an interest in a long-term finance career and someone who will be able to assist in the day-to-day running of the accounts department.
- Ownership of the monthly forecast process whilst assisting the Head of Finance with financial modelling and scenario planning which will include balance sheets, cashflow, P&L and Headcount Analysis and reporting on variances for Actuals vs Forecast.
- Work alongside the Group Financial Accountant regarding the consolidated Balance Sheet.
- Production of the UK Monthly Board Report.
- Support the Group Financial Accountant during the Financial Audit.
- Supporting the Head of Finance during the rollout of a new ERP Financial system.
- Assisting with the preparation of consolidated Group Management Accounts and Board Reports for both external and internal stakeholders.
- Assisting the Head of Finance alongside the wider business with ad-hoc tasks as and when they arise.
The Person
This will suit someone who has some previous experience working within a finance function and someone who is ambitious, driven and looking for a long-term career within finance. The person needs to be highly organised with a methodical approach and someone with excellent communication skills. You will ideally be a studier (ACCA/CIMA) as the company offers study support. You will have effective time management skills and be able to prioritise important tasks. You will be dynamic and motivated and be open to change due to the fast-paced and constantly evolving environment and you will have the desire to learn and develop to take on further responsibilities in the future.
