Our client is a large, forward-thinking entity based in the City of Manchester, that is looking for a talented and ambitious Tax Manager to join their team. Working with the Head of Tax they are seeking someone who can challenge current processes, and deliver a range of tax compliance and advisory services across all taxes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare annual corporate tax returns using OneSource and related transfer pricing / BEPS documentation.
- Oversee the preparation of overseas corporate tax and VAT returns.
- Complete current and deferred tax charge calculations.
- Prepare the Group VAT returns.
- Complete period end processes, and monthly reporting for Tax, including VAT calculations and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate tax cash flow forecasting.
- Liaise with HMRC, statutory auditors and external advisors.
- Identify potential risks.
The Person:
Ideally you will be a fully / part qualified accountant. It is essential you have hands on practical experience of business tax compliance. Must have tax accounting and experience of disclosures for consolidated groups.
