An exciting opportunity to join a specialist Manufacturing business in Manchester, looking for a commercially astute Head of Finance to lead their UK finance function. This is a hands-on, leadership role with full ownership of financial operations and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Driving financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Developing and mentoring the finance team
- Supporting margin improvement, cost control, and performance tracking
- Overseeing cash flow, treasury, and liquidity
- Managing standard costing and variance analysis
- Ensuring full compliance across tax, payroll, and internal controls
- Partnering with senior leadership on strategic business initiatives
Qualifications
- A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience within Manufacturing/Pharmaceutical
- An understanding of a multi group environment
- A strong grasp of operational and commercial finance
- The ability to influence cross-functionally and lead teams effectively
