We are working with a growing and entrepreneurial business based in Liverpool and we are looking for a Finance Manager to support the Owner of the business in providing strategic and financial information to help with informed decision making. You will play a key role in financial planning, reporting and analysis, ensuring the continued success of the business.
- End to end production of monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting pack to strict deadlines
- Budgeting and forecasting producing the companies annual budget and rolling forecasts
- Producing annual accounts
- Produce a monthly P&L with variance analysis & commentary
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Journals - accruals, prepayments and depreciation
- Producing a wide range of statistical reports to help with key decision making
- Oversee payroll
- Check & authorise supplier payment runs and any ad hoc payments
- Liaise with external advisors
Skills/attributes:
- Ideally you will be a fully qualified / part qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
- Strong QBE candidates will be considered
- Excellent strong Excel skills essential
- Experience of working in a SME would be beneficial
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
