Bayley & Sage is a small group of 14 independent stores filling the fridges and hearts of local communities across South West London. Our products reflect the best of the seasons, and we take pride in delivering superb food. Our internal culture is built on respect, inclusion and a desire to grow. We are currently looking for a Store Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the store operates smoothly at all times, including full availability of stock, appropriate staff cover, cleanliness and presentation, quality checks, and swift resolution of maintenance issues.
  • Generate maximum sales and minimise wastage.
  • Deliver sales, gross margin and labour % targets.
  • Ensure the team delivers outstanding customer service.
  • Ensure Shift Managers hand over shifts completely and correctly to the next Shift Manager.
  • Ensure POS and labels are complete and in correct place.
  • Train, develop and manage the team.
  • Ensure the store complies with all relevant Health and Safety regulations and company policy, including Food Safety, First Aid, Fire Safety, COSHH, HACCP, Manual Handling.
  • Ensure all areas of the business are clean, safe, organised and compliant with legislation and company policy.
