Shift Supervisor

Location: Bayley & Sage, 509 Old York Rd, London SW18 1TF

What You\’ll Do

• Run shifts and assist or deputize for the Store Manager, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Hand over the shift completely and correctly to the next Shift Manager / Store Manager.
• Supervise the team and ensure outstanding customer service.
• Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales targets with minimal wastage.
• Maintain accurate POS and labels.
• Participate in training, development and supervision of the team.
• Support the Store Manager to ensure Health & Safety compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Process ambient, fresh, packaging, and consumable deliveries.
• Display and merchandise stock.
• Rotate stock and check sell‑by/use‑by dates.
• Serve, process transactions and pack customers’ groceries.
• Dispose of waste correctly.
• Perform general cleaning duties.

Salary: £15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Afternoon shift
