What You'll Do
- Run shifts and assist or deputize for the Store Manager, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Hand over the shift completely and correctly to the next Shift Manager / Store Manager.
- Supervise the team and ensure outstanding customer service.
- Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales targets with minimal wastage.
- Maintain accurate POS and labels.
- Participate in training, development and supervision of the team.
- Support the Store Manager to ensure Health & Safety compliance.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Process ambient, fresh, packaging, and consumable deliveries.
- Display and merchandise stock.
- Rotate stock and check sell‑by/use‑by dates.
- Serve, process transactions and pack customers’ groceries.
- Dispose of waste correctly.
- Perform general cleaning duties.
