Key Responsibilities
- Conduct client fact-finds to understand financial circumstances, goals, and risk profile.
- Review existing arrangements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Clearly explain recommendations, including risks and benefits.
- Prepare suitability reports using standard templates.
Client Management
- Deliver a high-quality client experience throughout the lifecycle.
- Conduct regular reviews and maintain long-term relationships.
- Complete compliant annual reviews and maintain accurate records.
Business Development
- Meet targets for new business and service KPIs.
- Generate and convert new client opportunities.
- Support promotion of central investment propositions.
- Work with internal teams (e.g. paraplanners, admin, compliance).
- Maintain accurate and compliant client documentation.
Compliance & Standards
- Adhere to all relevant regulatory requirements (e.g. FCA rules).
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulations and market trends.
- Hold and maintain appropriate professional accreditation (e.g. SPS).
Requirements
- Qualifications
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent).
- Competent Adviser Status and current SPS.
- Experience & Knowledge
- Broad knowledge of financial planning (investments, pensions, tax, protection).
- Experience delivering advice (including remote/virtual meetings).
- Familiarity with financial planning tools (e.g. cashflow modelling).
- Strong relationship management skills.
